What you can do

Mark up drawings

Revision clouds, arrows, notes with leaders, text, highlighter and freehand pen. Set the scale from the drawing and dimension to it, add grid lines and level symbols. Typed commands work as they do in CAD: L, PL, REC, C, RC, DIM, then Enter.

Sign and stamp

Draw or type a signature and it’s kept for next time. Stamps for approved, approved as noted, rejected, for construction, superseded and more, with your name and the date underneath.

Merge and combine drawing sets

Open several PDFs as one. Combine a drawing issue so only the latest revision of each drawing goes in, in drawing-number order, with a contents page at the front.

Page jobs

Rotate, reorder by dragging, duplicate, crop, resize to A4, A3 or A1, delete, insert blank pages or pictures, split into several files or save chosen pages on their own.

Redact properly

Black out an account number or an address and it’s really gone: the page is rebuilt as a picture, so nothing underneath can be copied back out.

Fill in forms

Type into a PDF’s own form boxes, or anywhere on a page that has none. Tick, cross and today’s date in one click. Save it still fillable, or flattened.

Your files stay on your device

Most free PDF websites upload your file to their servers to work on it. This one doesn’t. The editor is a page that runs in your browser and opens the file from your phone or computer. Drawings, contracts and forms never go anywhere.

How that works

Nothing is changed until you save

Your original file is never touched. Save writes a new PDF, and a draft is kept in your browser as you work, so a refresh or a flat battery doesn’t lose your markups.

Works on a phone

Every tool works with a finger. Open a PDF from Files or an email, mark it up on site, and share it straight to email or WhatsApp.

Free in your browser, or the desktop app

The browser version is free and does all the editing. The desktop app does the same editing and works with your files the way a proper program does.

Built by a working site manager

It started as the mark-up tool in SiteHelm, written to do the jobs a site manager does with drawings every day: clouding a change, checking a dimension, stamping a drawing approved, putting the latest revisions together for the gang. Now it has its own home, and it’s free.
